So, what do you need to know to have a GIFT screensaver?

You need to be able to supply five bitmaps (200x200 pixels).

If your pics are not that size...the frames won't fit. Ever tried putting an 8x10 pic in a 4x6 frame? It just doesn't work...and it won't work with the screensavers either.

Resize your image:

By resizing your photo ...or reducing the size....you shrink it. The photo is smaller but EVERYTHING in the photo is still there.

Crop image:

By cropping your photo....you cut away the parts of the photo that you don't want. The file size will be reduced because you are only keeping the part you want....but the picture will be the original size.

....(if the size of your .bmp is close) paste your pic on the temp.bmp....which is the correct dimensions.

DO NOT INCREASE THE SIZE OF YOUR PIC. Your pic will become blurry.

After you have the five pics ....and the screensaver is installed....name your pics according the directions in the "readme.txt" file. The names vary from one screensaver to another so that if you have more than one screensaver installed...you may display different pics in each screensaver. If you have any problems...please let us know ...and we'll be glad to help you.

REMEMBER: YOUR COMPUTER NEEDS TO BE SET ON 16BIT HIGH COLOR.
