All the flowers in Beautiful Garden, Always Spring, and Kathleen's Flower came from Wales. Yes Wales... over in the United Kingdom. I was there visiting friends and spent one afternoon going through their garden ... picking flowers and scanning them.. to take back to the US. We even went to Kathleen's garden ... just across the street ... and helped ourselves to her flower. It was so perfect ... and I had never seen a flower like that before ... I couldn't resist.

The Sunflowers grew in the flowerbed infront of my house. My daughter planted them and watched them grow ..and grow....and grow. The plants ended up being higher than our house. One day when I looked at the blooms I decided I wanted to "keep" some of the flowers. The rest is history.
