All of our flower screensavers and backgrounds are from REAL flowers. Every flower is arranged individually to form the perfectly tiled backgrounds. Click here to find out where I found some of the flowers for my screensavers.
Now that you have the scanner... are you using it? Depending on the type of software you have you may be able to do alot more than just scan. But before we get into that...lets look at the basics of scanning.
dpi - dots per square inch
The higher the dpi the better the resolution. If you are scanning a 5x7 photo, you may not need to scan at 300 dpi. If you are sending it via e-mail to show a friend the photo of your new pet...72 dpi may do the trick. If you are planning on printing the photo out...go for the highest dpi.
Practice scanning the same photo at different dpi. Name each version 72dpi, 150dpi, 300dpi, etc. Then its time to compare..the file size? photo quality on the screen? photo quality on paper?
